Porch Chats

It's time to head over to Patrice's porch for the weekly chat.
QUESTIONS
  1. Are you a heavy sleep, light sleeper, or somewhere in between? I'd say somewhere in between.
  2. Are you currently reading anything interesting? I'm currently reading a free Kindle book called "Chasing Charlie." It's about a man dying from cancer and the struggles of his last days. I've had a hard time getting through it - there seem to be a lot of errors, but the gist of the story is good.
  3. Do you like to enter contests? Not really.
  4. Are you good about taking time to do things you enjoy? Not very, unless it's something like crochet. I can get lost in a project pretty easily.
  5. What's your favorite food to cook on the grill, or enjoy at a BBQ? Plain old hamburgers - nothing better!

    1. If you can crochet a wash cloth, you can crochet a baby blanket. Just think of it as a big wash cloth. :)

    2. I enjoy crochet, too, and have been making lapghans lately using a basic granny square pattern. Two are big squares and the one I just finished is a rectangle made around two granny squares.

      Have a great week!

  3. I love plain old hamburgers. It's been a bit different since we went gluten free. The rolls just aren't the same. I still like a good hamburger. It's fun to get lost in a crochet project.. Have a good week.

  4. I enjoy crochet, too. I have been making lapghans recently, using a basic granny square pattern. Two are big squares and one is a rectangle granny worked around two granny squares. This is a pattern that I can do while watching television. I can't do that with knitting. :)

    Have a great week!
