1.Where is your favorite place to think, reflect, or pray?
I've always found that the mountains are the best place to think, reflect, or pray.
2.Did you believe in Santa as a kid?Until I was around 8 and the family was going shopping on Christmas Eve. My Dad kept saying that maybe Santa would have been there by the time we got back but then he made us kids wait in the car for what seemed like forever before he and my mother came out. They were inside putting out the presents and I wasn't that dumb!
3.What's your favorite kind of Christmas cookie? You can add a recipe if you have time.I like them all but anything with peanut butter and chocolate is always a favorite.
4.Did you grow up around any of your grandparents?Mostly my maternal grandmother.
5.What's your favorite winter sport-skiing, skating, sledding, other(?) ? If you are in a warm place, what is your favorite winter sport to watch when the Winter Olympics are televised?Love to ice skate! Haven't been in years though ;(.

I haven't ice skated in years, but I certainly have more padding than when I skated. Think of Winnie the Pooh with the pillow strapped to his backside. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a peanut butter and chocolate fan too!
Have a great week-
Patrice
Yes, peanut butter and chocolate are always good. (I keep a jar of pb and a spoon in my desk)
ReplyDeleteI know I have ice skates somewhere in the basement but they probably qualify as antiques now :)
I've never skated on ice, just roller skating. When I was growing up we did get snow once or twice every year so I did enjoy sledding. The bigger the hill the better!
ReplyDeleteHi Empty Nest in Illinois, thanks for joining my followers. I get excited and surprise especially when I get 2 new followers on the same day.
ReplyDeleteI love your answers.
I love anything with peanut butter too especially if it's crunchy peanut butter.
The last time I put on my ice skates was when the kids were still young and we were skating on the pond near our farm and my figure skates pick got caught the rough edge of the ice and I went flying and hurt my knee badly and it bothered me for years but all better now. I hung up my skates that day.
I hope that you will come by my blog again and again. Have a great week. JB
It all sounds so nice. I think peanut and chocolate is my favorite too.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been skating since my Dad's 65th party - and that's over 20 years ago. Then I twisted my knee and I'm paying now. But I had fun!
ReplyDeleteI like pb and chocolate, too.
