Hodgepodge

Welcome back to the Wednesday Hodgepodge! Be sure to add your link to the bottom of Joyce's post and then go visit the neighbors. After all, that's part of the fun!

1.  In what ways do you indulge yourself? Coffee or espresso.
2.  Have you ever taken a cooking class?  Any interest?  What type of class would you most like to try? I haven't but would like to take some sort of French cooking class. Their food always looks so rich and yummy.
3. What does it mean to be a good citizen? I think it means doing your civic duty - like voting and trying to stay on top of things. Giving some of your time if at all possible is also a way of giving back. Obeying the laws of course helps too.
4.  'Tis the season of the political advert...do these ads influence your vote? I try to avoid the ads.
5.  What's something you see today that makes you wish you were a kid again? I can honestly say that I haven't seen anything to make me want to be a kid again.
6.  What's your least favorite cliche? Not a big fan of cliches - really can't think of one that is any worse than another.
7.  What percentage of your Christmas shopping has been completed?  How does that make you feel? Very little, possibly 10% - and it makes me feel like I need to get busy.
8.  Insert your own random thought here. I've been driving the truck for the past couple of days since the car was in the shop. Got it back last night but I forgot to put my parking hangtag back in it. The only thought on my mind this morning is getting Parking Services called first thing when they get in so that I don't get ticketed.

  1. I remember frequently forgetting to switch my parking hang tag. At least you get to remedy yours with a call to Parking Services. I would have to park in the pay lot ... $$$. :-(

  3. A French cooking class would be interesting, and yummy...but not healthy. But good!!

  4. I hate the political ads and calls. They really are so negative.

  5. I agree, French cooking always looks so delicious! I think I gain 5 pounds every time I watch Julie & Julia! :-)
