Oh my, you have more willpower than I do!! I HAD to know the sex ... not only on the first grandbaby, but all four of them! DD & DSIL didn't want to know on #3, and not knowing what colors/toys/clothes to buy like to drove me crazy! ha!
Waiting for that grandbaby is so much fun ... but not nearly as much fun as holding him/her in your arms for the first time.
I knew the sex of my last and I thought it was a wonderful thing to know just that little bit. I sort of wish I'd known the grandbabies, too. But, really, it''s a nice surprise ending to the almost breathless last month. Yes, I think I was holding my breath this time...hoping I wouldn;t miss it, I think.
OH the grand babies are so special. I had to move where they lived so I could see the grow up process repeated and get my fill of holding the baby and watching all the discovery and cuteness. There was the added "see childbirth on the watching side and not the painful side" that brings tears of joy to hear that first crying and then realization of the surrounding sounds and world. This time around technology is right there on the celly. A quick pick or a video of a moment! And the share button LOL If I had a large contact list, I would be like grandma spam! LOL
Congratulations and enjoy each precious moment! Kids just love their grandmas!

GAAAAH, BABY! Is pretty much the noise I made the moment this loaded, it's going to be so cute!
