My wt this morning was 167.8 - up a pound from yesterday. I counted 1251 calories yesterday which isn't too bad but my food choices were not so good. Mac & cheese, a bag of peanuts, a glass of wine and a slice of ham - nothing I ate was really good. Granted I didn't eat much of it - but still bad choices. I think my problem was that I gave blood Tue which always leaves me starving and really tired the next day. I also need to start taking a fiber supplement because I'm feeling bloated already - could account for some of the gain.
All in all - the first week is going ok - could be better but could be a lot worse. I love reading everybody's posts and think this will help me in keeping myself on track.
Just an FYI (that you may already know): if you weigh yourself every day, you're going to see some widely ranging weights (ask me how I know. ha!). I'm sure that's why they recommend that you weigh yourself once a week or so. (Having said that, I still find myself stepping on the scale more often. ha!)
ReplyDeleteKeep your eye on that ending number ... you'll get there!
By the looks of what you ate, it also could be the sodium that is making you gain as well. Remember that your weight does go & down on a daily basis.
ReplyDeleteI used to set myself up for disappointment by weighing myself everyday, so this time around I made a pact with myself not to stand on the scale except at my WW meeting....and I've stuck to it. Now the only day I have to worry about is Fridays, it's a lot less stressful and I find it easier to stay on track if I'm not worrying about the number on the scale. I now concentrate on Non Scale VIctories. It has made life a lot less complicated.
ReplyDeleteDaily weighing can drive you crazy for sure! I have to practice what I preach LOL. I just can't avoid the crazy either way! LOL
ReplyDeleteI hate bloating. Keep hydrated and keep the system flowing!
