Giving Thanks
Today I am thankful for my washing machine. I always have though that I should have been born a century earlier. I think I could live the old way - gardening, raising kids, cooking, sewing - all things I like to do. I could probably even get used to not having internet. But one thing I have no desire to do - washing clothes on a washboard. I am thankful for my washer.

I'm guessing that is one reason people didn't have as many clothes as we do now a days!! And they probably didn't wash them as often as we do either.
