1. What song reminds you of a specific time in your life and what is it about that song that makes you remember?
Stairway to Heaven and high school - junior prom as a matter of fact - I can still hear that song playing.
2. What's something you've given up on?
I never give up.
3. What's something you'll never give up on?
I repeat - I never give up - on anything. (Remember the little train that could - I think I can, I think I can, I think I can)
4. If you had to cook something from scratch in the next hour what would it be?
Biscuits and gravy? Pretty easy to do - and good too!
5. Have you started Christmas shopping? Decorating? Listening to Christmas music?
Shopping yes - that's a necessity, budget wise. Decorating or listening to Christmas music - NO - it's not even Thanksgiving yet!
6. What do you know about your parent's wedding?
I know they got married at a Justice of the Peace and spent their "honeymoon" in a rented cabin in Tazwell, TN.

7. I can't believe I ___________________.
I can't believe that I am as old as I am. What happened? Where did it go? Why aren't my kids just babies?
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Back to #7 - honestly - does anyone else feel like they are still 20 years old - or should be? I don't think my attitude has changed, I know my body has changed but I still think like I used to - ok, maybe a little smarter (or a lot smarter) but basically I simply don't FEEL old.

Now you've made me hungry for biscuits and gravy. ;-)
ReplyDeleteTime goes by so fast. There are days I feel like I'm in my 30's but really, I'm 57! My oh My. So glad you never give up.
ReplyDeleteI ask myself that everyday! haha...My oldest son will be 39 this month!! 39!! How in the world did that happen??!
ReplyDeleteStairway to Heaven...we must be about the same age : ) And probably not many people can say this here today but I have been to Tazwell, Tennessee : )
ReplyDeleteI am ever hopeful too- but instead of I think I can I think I can, I'm more of a damn the torpedoes full steam ahead...in other words, I am bull headed. LOL
ReplyDeleteAnd, really! What did happen to those years? Talk about gone by in a flash!!!
