Heather over at Acting Balanced posts 5 questions on Sunday evening along with a linky for you to link
up your post answers! Since Java is back , Heather has changed the name of her hop to "Monday Quiz About Me."
1. What is your favorite thing about November? Thanksgiving dinner of course.
2. What was the last thing that you bought that you regretted soon afterwards? The shrimp I bought on Friday - I picked up popcorn shrimp by mistake.
3. What is your go to snack food? Usually popcorn
4. Do you believe that newspapers should charge for their online content? Not sure - the ones around here usually have parts that are free - I've never paid for a subscription online.
For my 5th question this week:
Dressing or stuffing?

I like dressing! I think that's what you call it outside of the bird, correct? We call it stuffing whether it's in the bird or not. I don't like mine soggy and I'm a germophobe, so stovetop for me!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Well, in my neck of the woods we call it Stuffing, weather it's in OR out of the birds.
ReplyDeletePopcorn shrimp would be dangerous for me - I'm allergic to shrimp.
I am looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner too!!
ReplyDeleteWe call it dressing and there is usually a fight for it. i nibble on mine while the turkey is being carved.
ReplyDeleteYes I was going to ask what is the difference between dressing or stuffing and then I remembered that stuffing is the stuff inside the bird and dressings are the things you put around the bird to dress it up with or so the old Betty Crocker red & white checked cook book claimed. I like stuffing and you question made for a good thought process on something along the line "which came 1st the chicken or the egg?" LOL
ReplyDeleteStuffing, I should say. We seldom eat turkey in my country, and I have never cooked one myself. I remember most of the people from North America that I have talked with mentioning "stuffing" in talking about Thanksgiving dinner.
ReplyDeleteI prefer eating dressing. Can't bring myself to eat what comes out of the inside of the turkey...
ReplyDeleteI tend to make both... my kids it all up... I stuff the bird and the left over is cooked in a casserole dish right next to it!
ReplyDeleteI make both - I stuff the turkey but I also make enough to put in a dish because in my house, stuffing is the star.
ReplyDeleteDressing...Thanks for participating in the MQAM. Hope to see you again next week.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a good question. We call it stuffing. Dressing is what you do with clothes or what you put on a salad ;)
ReplyDeleteI thought dressing and stuffing was the same thing--don't eat either.
ReplyDeleteI call it stuffing! I love to eat it.
