The topic is: "What would be your Last Song?"
This is a hard one for me. To tell you the truth, the only thing I can think of is The William Tell Overture. I love it - I listen to it when I'm having a bad day or trying to do something that isn't working the way I want it to. I hear it and it makes me think of triumph - don't ask me why.
But as far as my LAST song - that would probably be one that goes back to my roots. Will the Circle be Unbroken (and that just came to me). Guess it's true that you can take the girl out of the country but you just can't take the country out of the girl.

Good choices! I would love to hear them as well.
ReplyDeleteI love your choices too. I would choose "I Can Live Forever, When I Get to Heaven" sung by George Jones.
ReplyDeleteGreat choices
ReplyDeletegreat songs...both of them!
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I should have had the William Tell Overture in my list of faves. You summed it up perfectly: triumph! so what a great last song.
ReplyDeleteLove Will the Circle Be UnBroken - returning to roots is perfect.
Ok so...that black cat distracted me for a minute and I almost forgot I was supposed to comment...
ReplyDeleteBut our choices are pretty interesting. Especially the last one. I think it's pretty fitting to "return to your roots" when it comes to a last anything. Great choice!
My first choice would be 'Cafe Regio's' from Isaac Hayes soundtrack to 'Shaft' or George Gershwin's 'Rhapsody in Blue'. Both are instrumental and both are fantastic!
