You know you're asking this question to someone who hasn't been in that kind of relationship for a loooooong time don't you? Not sure I can remember that far back. Let's see. I can't even remember how the ex asked me to marry him. Is that awful? But I suppose we had our moments. I've got it!
I wanted a baby - badly - he wasn't sure he was ready. I was on the pill. I always took them at night before bed. I opened the pill box (remember those little plastic cases with the pills inside?) and found a post-it note that said: "now it is time for having babies." I still have that little post it note inside of daughter's baby book.

Oh my gosh...I started to cry. seriously, a big fat tear just well up and fell down.
