Chats on the Farmhouse Porch
It's time to head over to Patrice's
porch for the weekly chat. Welcome to the new participants in the chat! The questions today are from some of us "porch gatherers."
Questions
- Melanie asks "What kinds of seafood have you tried and liked? What is the most unique seafood you've eaten? I like shrimp and lobster, some crab is ok - I did not like the calamari - that would be the most unique kind that I have eaten.
- Anne says, "An
unforgettable holiday moment is That would be Spring break back in 1978 - there were five of us that went together and we had a blast. (She's on the
other side of that BIG pond. I believe a holiday is a vacation on this
side. )
- Arlene wants to know, "When was the last time you tried something new?" Not sure - I guess I'm trying something new right now with this new job.
- Becky asks, "Who or what inspires you?" My children inspire me.
- Madonna wants to
know," How did you chose the names of your children. Wendell adds,"If
you don't have kids, how do you choose pet names?" Daughter's name came from a book I read as a teenager. I had never heard the name before and I loved it. Son was named after his father.
I named one of my pets from a name I saw in a book I was reading as well. She was a cat that we got as a kitten. I named her K.C. (which stood for Kitty Cat). I just thought that was precious.
