It's Thursday! One of my favorite days. Time to do a little "pondering" with Brenda from Ponderings of an Author. I'm so glad that Brenda got her new site up and running in time for Ponderings!
Her rules are really easy:
1. Grab the Pondering with a Purpose Badge (in her sidebar)
2. Look at the week's prompt
3.
Post something on your blog that relates to the prompt - it can be a
story, a poem, a picture -- anything you want it to be.
4. Go back here and add the URL from your post to the linky list on Brenda's.
5. Go check out the other bloggers who have added their links to the list.
6. AND most of all.... Have fun!
Talk about flexible - Brenda is the epitome of the word. For someone to get home from Germany, almost instantly have to travel for the birth of a grandchild and then return to have to set up a new blog - yes, that's being flexible.
I'd like to think that I am a pretty flexible person. I've had to be. I've had an interesting week- which involved a lot of flexibility - myself with the birth of my second grandchild. I had not planned on going to the hospital last night but daughter sounded so "blue" on the phone I had to put my coat and shoes back on and head out in the snow to make the hour trip. She was bored. No-one was there with her. (She is staying at the hospital until GPR is strong enough to come home). By the time I got there though, her hubby had arrived and she was all smiles again. Oh well. I got to see my little GPR (which is what I've decided to call the little guy since they didn't consult me on the name and I really don't care that much for it). All is good. I'm flexible that way!

Hope that little GPR is improving.
ReplyDeleteYou are indeed flexible. I think we all have to be.
ReplyDeleteBeing a grandparent is being flexible. Congratulations on your new grandchild.
ReplyDeletelol.... I have come to realize that parenting never ends.... and it seems to intensify as they get older....now that is flexibility!
ReplyDeleteThanks for pondering with me and I think GPR works just fine!
Flexible that is key!
ReplyDeleteI am most grateful and appreciative of my own mothers' flexibility when it comes to visiting her grandchild. she has saved me on more than a few occasions - and it is a 2 hour drive for her!!
ReplyDeleteHope GPR and mom are both doing well!
