Monday Quiz About Me

Welcome to Monday Quiz About Me - hosted by Acting Balanced and Touristic. They post 5 questions on Sunday evening along with a linky for you to link up your post answers!

Here are the Questions:
1. When would you consider planting flowers or vegetables at your residence? Every spring! Can't wait - garden is already all planned out - it will e plowed in early April and planted over the next few weeks. 2. What is more egregious; cheating on one's spouse or spending the family into being bankruptcy? I'd say that both are pretty bad, although cheating is the one unforgivable thing in my book. 3. In honor of Pi Day this week, what is your favorite kind of pie? Cherry is my fave! 4. Would would you give Wayne @ Touristic for his birthday today? I have no idea! Since he seems to be the intellectual type - maybe a book on a subject he is interested in?

And don't forget to add a 5th Question on your own blog so we can answer as we hop around! It's been a short weekend again with running back and forth to the hospital to see my grandson. I hope they let him come home soon. I have been extremely tired and I think it's from sitting around in a hospital room - and maybe driving a lot more than usual. Daughter doesn't seem to mind that much. She has her ipad and phone to keep her company. I have noticed this weekend that her phone never seems to stop "beeping" with text messages! This younger generation! I personally HATE texting and do it sparingly. So my question today is: What is wrong with having an actual conversation?

  1. I totally agree with you, what ever happened to the art of conversation?! Even when there's a room full of people around them, there are those who continue to text. Makes no sense to me!

  2. I wish I could begin planting right now- but soon!

  3. Having a conversation face to face is much more personal, and there aren't as many misunderstandings because of something that was written and taken in the wrong context. I'm all for talking!

  4. I confess, I'm a texter too. Being on the phone can be uncomfortable at times.

  5. No one seems to want to talk to each other these days. As for spelling from texting...

I do text, but prefer to talk, then again, I'm generation x, so remember what it was like before cell phones, ipads & text.
