I think the stress of work/school got to me. Working on a big project in one class and had a midterm in the other. I actually DID exercise but obviously did not do a very good job of monitoring what went into my mouth. This week is also going to be challenging for me as I have a potluck meeting tonight and a photography class Wed. night - and I have to finish the class project before next Monday. I promise I will try to do better.

  1. Stress is a roadblock to just about everything and is proven to cause weight gain - especially belly fat! I think you did well considering the stress you're under. I had a stressful week, too, and gained 0.5 pounds - and that's with eating "clean." I hope this week is a lot less stressful for you. Enjoy your potluck dinner and good luck with your class project and your exercise plans!

  2. Hand-mouth coordination is one of the trickiest exercises. Keep going...doesn't matter if you stumble. Just don't give up!

  6. No matter what- just DON'T QUIT! And don't focus on the past. Take it one day at a time. Or one hour or one minute. Whichever works!

  7. It is hard to stay focused with so much other stuff going on, but do the best you can and keep on going! Slow and steady does win the race!

  8. Stress also makes me not loosing weight. So, you might just want to keep your weight until you have more time again to focus on eating healthy and enjoying life more again.

  9. Yes stress is a killer. We just have to get focused and keep in in our head what we are doing this for. You hang in there do it. Maybe this week will be better for you.

  11. Well, at least you lost last week. Lots of good support above. Try to keep healthy snacks close by when under stress. And drink loads of water. Those are my tricks.
