Week 3 check in

The week was not really good for exercise - I had lots of work to do for the classes I'm taking, meetings on two nights, and the daughter wanted me to do the annual Spoon River Drive this weekend. I hate to admit but I was really bad and shared a "blooming onion" while on the drive. The rest of the week, I did a pretty good job of watching what I ate and I did have a loss for the week:

Last week - 167.4
This week - 165.8
Down another 1.6!!!!

At this rate I will not be into my dress by Christmas so I know I have to step it up a little. I promise I'm going to try. My goal for the week is the same as last week - try to find the time for the exercise.
Look forward to checking all the posts over at Christmas Dress Challenge to see how everyone else did.

  5. Nice that you had a loss. This week step up that exercise and well leave the blooming onions and such things out so that dress will fit! Have a great week! michele

  6. You at least lost something. So, be happy that the scale takes you into the right direction. :-) Wish you a great new week with lots of exercise.

  7. You lost weight and that's worth celebrating! Like you, I need to notch up the exercise, but we can do it this week. Maybe you'll be surprised anyway when that dress slips on at Christmas time. We have 11 weeks to stay focused and achieve our goals. Best wishes for a great week.

  9. We see 11 weeks before us. The hardest time here States side are a coming. For me it is not necessarily the food, it is the social pressure when dieting. I don't want to stand out. Say "no thank you as quickly as possible with little attention" lol Hope that the "oh come on just one more kinda relative ain't a watchin'"

  10. I'm having the same trouble with my goal jeans. I maynot make it into them by Christmas but I'm determined not to see that as a failure. And who knows with hard work and perseverance stranger things have happened. You can do it!

  11. Good for you for the weight loss; I believe slow and steady wins the race, no matter if you don't make the dress goal; but changing eating habits that will last past when you get to your goal so the weight stays off makes a big difference. It is hard to find time to exercise; we get up super early (5 a.m.) to head to the gym. We get it done but some days it is soooo hard to want to get out of bed when the alarm rings.

    Keep up the good work!

  12. I think you are doing well... I'm proud of you... I've been on Weight Watchers Online since last April... I'm losing but it's much harder to lose now that I'm older. Dang it!!!!

We have been to Elrod Falls--one time on our way home from Big Stone Gap...
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  13. Sounds like you are doing something right. 1.6 is a great loss - so revel in the fact that whet you are doing is working! One Bloomin' Onion doesn't negate a week of hard work!
