1. In your opinion what's the most important job in the world? Oh, and parenting is a given so besides parenting, what's the most important job in the world? If not parenting, I would have to go with teachers, especially Elementary School - the formation years - not that all teachers/professors are not important but I think the foundation needs to be built early if at all possible.
2. Share a favorite or not so favorite memory from a childhood birthday. Birthday's were not a big deal in my family. Presents were not given, if fact it wasn't often that you even got a cake.
3. Peanut butter-crunchy or smooth? The crunchier the better!
4. William Butler Yeats is credited as saying, "Happiness is neither virtue nor pleasure nor this thing nor that but simply growth, We are happy when we are growing." Your thoughts? I've never really thought about it, but I'm not sure that we do. I think all experiences make us grow, not just the "happy" ones. I've grown a lot over the years and I think the saddest/hardest times are those that made me grow the most - so I guess I disagree.
5. What's something that makes you cringe? I've said this often, but the way that college students write makes me cringe.

6. Name a song that always puts you in a good mood? Country Roads - John Denver.
7. The answer is yes. What's the question? Wouldn't you like to know!(In other words - there are just TOO many possibilities for that one.)
8. Insert your own random thought here.I haven't posted a picture of my grandson lately so I'm going to take this opportunity to do it. Here he is sitting on a wine barrel in Venice. I think it is just awesome that son and dil get to travel the way they do!

ReplyDeleteFirst.. he is tooooo cute!
ReplyDeleteSecond... I think I would answer each question the same way... elementary school teachers are by far the most influential people on our children besides ourselves.
And the way kids write... holy ..... did they sleep through English?
Your grandson is precious! Agreed...teachers do make such a difference!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture. Excellent choice. Very cute! :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with your answer to #1,
ReplyDeleteYour grandson is so cute.
What a cutie he is! I don't remember any other birthday but the one I mentioned in my hodgepodge post. I do know that we got to have our favorite dinner and a cake and presents. But mostly it was just with family.
