2. Autumn arrives this week in the Northern Hemisphere...what one thing do you love most about the fall season? I love the colors and the cooler temps. It's nice to not need the heat or the air!
3. Speaking of fall...pumpkin seems to be flavoring everything these days-are you a fan? What's your favorite pumpkin flavored food or beverage? Pumpkin bread would be my favorite.
4. Since we're on the subject of fall...what's the worst fall you've ever taken? I've never had a bad fall. I fell off of a stepladder when I was pregnant with my daughter and it scared me half to death but didn't hurt anything.
5. If you could own a prop from any film what would you choose? How about the plantation house from Gone With the Wind!
6. What's the most interesting word you've read or learned in the past week? I can't think of a word that I have learned recently.
7. When was the last time you locked yourself out of your house, car, or office? Was it a big deal? I used to lock myself out of the house when I lived in the country but it was no big deal - I knew how to break in. Biz locked himself out of his truck and I broke into it for him. Must be a knack I have. Is that bad?
It seems all of us in our early 50's feel the same : )
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your happy news!
I too am a grandmother and I love "Gone with the Wind"
ReplyDeleteI have locked myself out of my car several times - all when I was studying for the CPA exam
ReplyDeleteBig congrats on having a new addition to your family! How exciting! I'm amazed at how many have chosen Gone With the Wind!
ReplyDeletecongratulations to you & your daughter! We were married about 6 years before our 1st child ... and in retrospect, God's timing was perfect! Every baby is precious but sometimes the one you've waited a long time for is even more so.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to know your daughter is pregnant, and I pray she has a safe, and wonderful nine months! I'm a bit older than you but still waiting for my daughters to marry & start families... I will love being a grandmother, someday.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on becoming a Grandma again.
ReplyDeleteAs for the knack for breaking in to a vehicle, I was at a restaurant once and a lady had locked her keys in her car with it running. Her window was down just a tiny bit and I was able to slide my arm in and hit the unlock button. It left an imprint on my arm it was so tight, but I did it. I have also helped get cars unlocked using a wire hanger a time or two.
Congratulations! There's nothing like a new grandbaby, whether it's your first or not. I'm so excited for you and your daughter!
