Six Word Saturday

To participate all you need to do is describe your life (or something) in a phrase using just six words. For more information, go to Show My Face. and Cate will explain it. Add an image, a video, a song, nothing.




I'm selling poppies for VFW today.
Then working for VFW reunion dinner.
Tomorrow going to Labor Day celebration.
Lots of flea markets to browse.
Hoping to find an old canner.
Daughter wants to learn to can.
Would rather her have old one.
Think they are heavier than new.
Don't make stuff really good anymore.
Mine is probably 60 years old.
I've had it 30 at least.
It came from my granny's house.
It still works like a trooper.
I call it my "old faithful."

    Loving all these sixes, and you are right, they don't make things like they used to. I am 58, and the kitchen things I have that were my mom's are much better than anything I can buy today! Have fun doing canning together... make good memories!

    You mention poppies and I miss my little home town. Poppies sold on the corner of practically every street in town.
