1. When was the last time you had your picture taken with Santa? I don't remember ever having a picture taken with Santa.
2. Which do you prefer - ham or turkey? Turkey
3. Do you give more to charity in December? Yes, there's the Angle Tree and all the bell ringers, plus special collections for the military.
4. Which US City would you most like to visit and why? Not sure - maybe Savannah.

My 5th question: What is your tree topper?
My heart goes with the angel tree and bell ringers as well. Can't pass them up. My tree topper is brand new. My daughter surprised me Saturday with a Santa that I've been eyeballing for a couple of weeks. I love him.
ReplyDeleteMy tree topper used to be a light up angel but it finally burned out. Last year I bought a star but immediately didn't like it because it didn't light up so in the dark room you couldn't see it. I'm not doing a tree this year since we will be out of town (plus I threw out the old one last year and haven't replaced it). I think the topper is as hard to pick as the tree.
ReplyDeleteOur tree topper is a porcelain angel. She doesn't light up but she is beautiful. Her face is so angelic.
ReplyDeleteI do give more to charity in the winter. The bell ringers are heroes to stand in the cold ringing the bells.

ReplyDeleteOur tree topper is the Angel in a gold tissue lame dress that used to be the topper from the formal tree I had.
ReplyDeleteHubby wants to change the topper to a star. I'm fine with that, but he and I have to shop for a new topper together. It's been 2 years since he asked about it and my Angel still tops the tree. But really, after 25 years, she can retire; I just don't want her replaced with something cheap!
I have a beautiful angel on top of my tree, that is supposed to light up with fiber optic lighting, only the bulb went out and I can't find a replacement :P

ReplyDeleteSince we moved here, we are in a small duplex and so I don't even put up a tree. I have a lighted wreath instead. It has a nice big floppy bow and is covered in some of the ornaments I WOULD put on a tree if I had one.
