Well - it's summer and I am loving my pool right now. It makes me happy. I'll get in every night after work and spend as much time as possible over the weekend there!
It's also garden season, which I love. I've been eating lots of spinach, lettuce, raddishes, turnips, turnip greens, peas........I picked my first green beans this weekend along with my first cucumbers and zucchini! Next weekend I will be canning beans - which will make the pool even better in the evening after a day of canning in a hot kitchen!

ReplyDeleteawwww he is adorable!!--i made some pole beans the other week--i was going to get snap beans, but these were very good!
ReplyDeleteOh, I wish I had a big enough yard (and sun exposure) to grow my own veggies. I have to settle for a couple of tomato or bean plants in big pots on the sunny deck. better than nothing I guess.
