Chats on the Farmhouse Porch

It's time to head over to Patrice's porch for the weekly chat.
Here are the questions:
  1. What are you doing for Memorial Weekend?
  2. What's the last old movie you saw?
  3. What color are the walls in your living room?
  4. What's your favorite food to cook on the grill?
  5. What's your favorite animal?
My Answers:
  1. I don't really have any big plans for the weekend - except for getting the pool put up and filled. I'm also planning on watching the History Channel's version of the Hatfield and McCoy Feud.
  2. I don't really know the name - it was with Jimmy Stewart as a reporter, investigating an old murder case.
  3. Country white.
  4. Chicken on the grill is awesome.
  5. Favorite animal? I like most animals - love dogs and cats too, then there are horses, cows, sheep and even goats! Never cared much for pigs though. I'm a country girl at heart I guess - born and bred.

  2. That will be interesting. Didn't you say once that is your family? I should track it down as it has always intrigued me. I went to grade school with a kid who said it was his family too.
It sounds like you will have a nice weekend. I like all of your pictures up at the top of your page. It looks nice.

  6. Do you have family ties to the Hatfield/McCoy feud? I went to school with a gal who was a Hatfield. She was a descendent of that clan warfare, but I'm not sure how far removed. There was also some McCoys in our area, too. I'm pretty sure they also had ties. What do you expect, I grew up in WV. lol

  7. We're waiting to get our pool open until after we get back from our trip. I love sitting on the deck with my feet dangling in the water, readig a book and watching the kids splash around.
