Welcome to the weekly Follow Friday Four Fill-in Fun Blog Hop!
Each week, Hilary over at Feeling Beachie lists four statements with a blank for you to
fill in on your own blogs. This week’s co-host is Megan from Monday Morning Musings. She came up with the last two statements.
Hilary would LOVE it if you could please help her spread the word about this hop…. So, please tweet, FaceBook share, and add the linky to your post…
This week’s statements:
1. I can’t stand when people say ____
2. If you are going to __ please___
3. Call me a _____ because ______
4. If I had a dollar for every time I heard ______, I swear I’d be a millionaire by now.
My answers:
1. I can’t stand when people say that you look great when you just got up and threw anything on, worked all day outside and then had to run to town to get something and didn't bother to change because you didn't think you'd run into anyone you knew.
2. If you are going to volunteer to help with an event please show up.
3. Call me a cheapskate because I'm always looking for ways to save on items.
4. If I had a dollar for every time I heard someone whine about being broke, then turn around and pull out a credit card, I swear I’d be a millionaire by now.
Now it's time to head over to Mama M's at My Little Life for 5 question Friday!
Rules for 5QF:
Copy and paste the following questions to your blog post, answer them,
then watch for the linky post to appear and LINK UP!
Questions for Friday, May 4th:
1. What did you wear to prom? Include a picture if possible. It was a bridesmaid dress from my sister's wedding - it was purple and horrid.
2. Would you rather be on the biggest loser or a food eating challenge? biggest loser
3. Done fave sonic drink? Refreshing summer drink? (Hey, Kristina...was that a typo, or some "done good" Southern thing?) Can't say that I have - my favorite summer drink is the same as my winter drink - coffee!
4. What was your first car, and what did you call it? A 1964 Chevrolet Impalla SS - actually I guess that was not my first car. The first would have been a 1966 Opal Cadet which LITERALLY required you to check the gas and fill the oil. I bought it from my brother for $60. The Impalla was my first love - I named it "Pandora" (yes that is now my cat's name). That car took me everywhere!
5. What's one thing your child or spouse does that sends you over the edge? My daughter used to open a cabinet door to get something and leave the door open! Drove me nuts!
2. Would you rather be on the biggest loser or a food eating challenge? biggest loser

Oh volunteers that don't show up = frustration!!! Huge frustration! Great answers!!! Coming over from Hilary's!! Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI have a phobia about open cupboard doors, especially since I left one open and split open my head! Have a god day.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE all of your answers.. .and being broke and then using a credit card is a classic!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm cheap too... I now buy all my produce at the 99 cent store --- go figure!
Great answers! No-show volunteers are the worst. You just know some of them never even intended to show. Very true about the credit cards. I have nothing against people who really need it being on welfare, but it irks me to no end when I see someone who is so poor they buy their groceries with food stamps, but then shell out huge sums of cash for cigarettes and beer.
ReplyDeleteCompletely with you on the rudeness of not showing up as promised and coffee. Completely :)
ReplyDeletenothing wrong with being cheap! LOL
ReplyDeletewe kinda have to be since we only have the one salary. I am afraid I wasn't so much that way when I was single and fancy free.
I so agree with your number two.. say what you mean, and do what you say!!!
ReplyDeleteI guess, I'm cheap, too. Well, I like to think of it as being frugal...
ReplyDeleteI love all your answers! And I agree 100% with #3!
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed weekend.
