Six Word Saturday

To participate all you need to do is describe your life (or something) in a phrase using just six words. For more information, go to Show My Face. and Cate will explain it. Add an image, a video, a song, nothing.

I took the day off yesterday.
I took a vacation day and decided that I didn't want to even look at a computer screen for the entire day. The son of a friend was killed in a car accident on Wednesday night and I just didn't feel like doing it. Normally I sit in front of a computer all day long and then again when I get home. I kind of feel bad about not doing my normal Friday memes but then again I wasn't in the right frame of mind to do it.

  1. I'm sorry about the lost of your friend's son.
Life is so short, we must make most of it. I don't blame you for not feeling like being in front of the computer screen. Take time to be with your friend. JB

  2. Wow it is so hard when I children lose those they are friends with & may have spent numerous hours in our homes it makes us moms catch our breath with it could have been?? I am praying for your family hearts to get through this time. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal!

  6. so sorry to hear about your friend's son ... those things are always so shocking and hard to process...
BTW, I spent Friday in the Southern part of Illinois. My husband interviewed for a job - really enjoyed it - but won't hear anything for another 2-3 weeks.

  7. My sincere condolences. I had a recent loss, myself. It is hard to lose anyone you care about.
