It's time to head over to Patrice's porch for the weekly chat!
Here are the questions for today's hop.
- What's your favorite clock- digital or an old fashioned face with hands?
- What's your favorite type of bird?
- How do you feel about being in front of people? This could include meetings, speeches, performing, or just saying something at a party.
- What's the last item of clothing that you purchased?
- Please give me a caption or a Wendell quote for this picture.
- I like an old fashioned clock everywhere except for the alarm clock - that I want to be able to look at in the dark and see what time it is.
- I love all the little yellow goldfinches, bluebirds, and blue indigos but hummers are my favorites - except for eagles - they're so majestic! I actually collect eagle figurines.
- I hate public speaking - but the older I get, the easier it is.
- That would be some new "unmentionables."
- "Those chickens better not be eating my grass!"

Ya I think old fashioned clocks are cool but, I need a good digital clock for waking up. I actually use my cell phone! : )
ReplyDeleteI am a clock person. I have 3 old clocks (two of them from family) in my home. They are my JOY...
ReplyDeleteChoosing a favorite bird is hard but I guess my alltime favorite is the Eastern Bluebird. I love the Pileated Woodpeckers also. AND--I love the Northern Cardinals.
Hugs,
Betsy
We're opposites...public speaking is not getting any easier for me. If anything, I'm getting more shy/introverted instead of less.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your post. Have a great week!
My dad has clocks all over his house- grandfather clocks, cuckoo clocks, mantle clock, Christmas clocks...they're gorgeous. But not in the middle of the night when they are striking the hour and half hour. LOL
ReplyDeleteI liked your answers this week. I have never really thought about clocks before. I am going to have to really think when I do these questions. Do you have a new grand baby yet?
ReplyDeleteYes - a beautiful baby boy!
DeleteIt seems like we're all picking the old fashion analog clocks as our first love, but digital wins for convenience.
ReplyDeleteYour comment on public speaking being easier as you get older is interesting. Maybe we just become more comfortable with ourselves?
ReplyDeleteI love hummingbirds and they didn't even cross my mind when I answered this. I believe Wendell might have said that! Have a delightful week!
ReplyDeleteOh... you are right. Hummingbirds are so incredible. They are so tiny but can fly so darn fast! We usually have a hummingbird feeder and it is very entertaining to watch them.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree that having a clock with LED lights that I can read with one eye open is nice at night. I don't know why it is, but when I wake up I like to know the time! When I was little I'd wait to hear the ship's clock ring so I would know the time!
