It's time to head over to Patrice's porch for the weekly chat and boy am I glad she confessed to be the reason for this cold weather. Here I was thinking it was because I got the garden plowed!
This week's questions:
- What was your favorite book as a child?
- Dark chocolate, Milk Chocolate, or White Chocolate?
- What's your biggest "pet peeve" when it comes to your kitchen?
- Do you use any type of water filter in your home? (Whole house, faucet mount, or pitcher)
- What's the herb you use the most in cooking?
- Horton Hatches the Egg - Sighed Mazie, a lazy bird hatching an egg, I'm tired and I'm bored and I've kinks in my legs - from sitting, just sitting here day after day. It's work, how I hate it, I'd much rather play................
- Yes, yes, and yes.
- Things not put back in the cabinets where they belong. My daughter was always getting something out, leaving it on the counter, and leaving the cabinet door open! Drove me nuts.
- Pitcher. They work quite well. I also have a filter inside the fridge that gives filtered water on the door and for ice.
- I just love sage but I guess you didn't ask what my favorite was. The one I use the most would be garlic.
I love the Horton book, too. One of my favorite phrases comes from that book: "I meant what I said and I said what I meant. An elephant's faithful 100%".
ReplyDeleteI like sage, too. I still remember one Thanksgiving that my granny must have tripped while cooking because the dressing had extra sage in it that year. It kind of reminds me of when I "tripped" with the garlic in chicken cacciatore. haha
Have a great week!
Hi Tami, My favorite children's book was Secret Garden...Remember it? Truly, I am not much of a chocolate person -but I do like white chocolate. We have no water filter in our home.. Our water is pretty good here. I guess that garlic would be our most-used herb too.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Horton Hears a Who. I love that one, but don't think I read it as a child. If I did, I don't remember. Horton Hatches An Egg is pretty good too.
ReplyDeleteI loved Dr. Seuss. Yes-yes-yes-LOL!I'd love to have one of the refrigerators with filtered water coming from the door, but we don't have a place to install a water line on that side of the kitchen. I like things in the right cupboards- and doors closed too.
