A Great Recipe!

I'm posting this recipe for a friend, Janet Rauch. I haven't tried it (yet) but she says they're awesome!
Refrigerator Rolls...Very Good!

1 package yeast
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup warm water
1 teaspoon sugar
3 cups warm water
6 to 8 cups flour

Dissolve the yeast in the half cup of water. Then add the
remaining water, salt and sugar. Add enough flour for a
soft sponge. Let rise.

1 cup lard or shortening, (melted and cooled)
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
Flour

To the first mixture add the shortening. Add the eggs, then
the sugar and the salt. Add enough flour to make a stiff dough.
Let rise and make into rolls, coffee cake, cinnamon balls, etc.
The dough may be refrigerated until ready to use, staying
good for several days.

Janet says that you keep this dough in the fridge and it will continue to rise so you have to punch it down once in a while. When you want to make your bread, just pull off what you need.
