Chats on the Farmhouse Porch

It's time to head over to Patrice's porch for the weekly chat.
Questions

  1. Do you like to sing? What kind of music are you likely to sing? I do like to sing although I'm not very good at it. I will often sing along to the radio when they're playing the old country songs - Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Tanya Tucker.....
  2. Do you watch soap operas (daytime TV), or have you ever? No - has never been my thing.
  3. Do you wear glasses or contacts? Glasses - they just gave me trifocals - the joys of getting old!
  4. What's your favorite easy meal when the weather is hot? Taco salad.
  5. Tell me something about the past week. It's been busy for me, especially  last weekend. I'm in the heart of canning season! Did spaghetti sauce Saturday, will do whole tomatoes tonight, then more juice - and I'm going to daughter's tonight to pick up peaches!

    I wear trifocals, too...so wish I had the money for the eye surgery...but alas, glasses are much cheaper and less painful!!! ;-) All those maters will taste great next winter!!

    I love the taco salad but I am the only one now in the house that likes it so I don't make it often :(
