Pondering With a Purpose

Thursday again! Time to do a little "pondering" with Brenda from Fiction With a Purpose.

Her rules are really easy:

1. Grab the Pondering with a Purpose Badge (in her sidebar)
2. Look at the week's prompt
3. Post something on your blog that relates to the prompt - it can be a story, a poem, a picture -- anything you want it to be.
4. Go back here and add the URL from your post to the linky list on Brenda's.
5. Go check out the other bloggers who have added their links to the list.
6. AND most of all.... Have fun!

This Week's prompt:   Legacy

I'm right there with Brenda on this one! My children are my legacy - the biggest accomplishment of my life! I struggled for years to give them a better life than the one I had. I When I look at them now and see the strong, independent, intelligent, successful and loving individuals they have become it makes every minute worth it. I am so grateful for the relationship that I have with both of them and the relationships they have with each other and with their spouses!

I have often made the comment that "twice in his life, my ex-husband did something right," but in all honestly, I can say the same thing about myself! As I said, they are my greatest accomplishment. I did good! They are my legacy.

  1. A very nice tribute to your kids. They really are a reflection of who we are.

Pat yourself on the back for this one.

  4. Good children are such a great blessing! Children also reflect their upbringing (usually) so you must have done a fine job! Enjoy the rest of your week.
