2. What’s a belief that you hold with which many people disagree? I believe that all those who receive public aid should have to undergo drug testing before they receive it. I'm not against public aid but I hate to see the system abused.
3. What kind of music do you enjoy listening to? Country - and old country at that - was raised with it and it stuck.
4. What piece of advice would you give to a beginning blogger? Don't worry about the number of followers - just try to find people you have something in common with.
My 5th question: We finally got some rain yesterday! Too late for the crops/gardens but it was wonderful to stand at the window and watch it falling. Did you get any rain over the weekend?
We did get rain in Phoenix last week, but none on the weekend. We are about to the end of our monsoon season.

ReplyDeleteI'm with you on #2. It makes me furious to see certain people walking into the tavern on cheque day. I look at the deductions on my pay stub and think - I'm paying for that!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get any rain over the weekend, but had gotten some for the two weeks prior. More rain is forecast for today.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on #2! Where we live, the system is being abused terribly, and it makes me mad! Enough!
We have been getting rain on a pretty regular basis (almost every afternoon).
ReplyDeleteI love classic country. I grew up listening to Cash, Jones, Twitty, etc. I have seen all of the old classic artists in concert when they were in their prime. Oh what memories!

ReplyDeleteWe just drove from Dallas, Texas to Indiana. We were in Dallas for a wedding. Every time we didn't put bags around our suitcases it would rain. When we put the bags around the suitcases, it didn't rain! LOL Oh, the suitcases were in the bed of the truck.

ReplyDeleteThe rain started pouring here last night and through most of the morning. We welcome the rain here, but it changed out breakfast out plans to lunch out!
