- Are you a list maker? (grocery, to-do, goals, etc.) Definitely! I make lists all the time - I find that it's so much easier when I have a sort of plan to follow.
- Do you have overnight guests often? Rarely
- Where is your laundry room, or the area that you keep your washer and dryer? In the basement - an unfinished basement but it serves the purpose.
- How are you with tools? Power tools? I'm not too bad. I've learned a lot over the years of being a single mom - kind of had to learn to do things myself. Power tools - no so much.
- Tell me something that will make me smile. Please. I know Patrice is sad to thing of D1 going off to college. I was, and my daughter commuted - but it still felt like I was losing her. I have to say though, that (at least in my case) you end up being even closer. There's nothing like a child growing up and realizing that mom does know a thing or two and is a good place to seek advice!

Stopping by from Ms. Patrice's porch. Don't you love to visit and read other's answers and see how much alike...or different...we all are?!?! HOPE you have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to know I am not the only one who loves lists.
ReplyDeleteMy grown daughters have thanked me more than once for their 'up-bringing.' Once they were grown with families of their own they appreciated their childhood. Visiting form Chats on the Porch, have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteI agree there is a closer connection when they have to leave us as adults it is still lonely but they seem to appreciate us more and use the time together as valued. Good for you and the tools.
ReplyDeleteGreat visiting with you again this Tuesday wishing you a blessed and happy week!!
I make lists all of the time too. Otherwise I forget what I intended to do. LOL
ReplyDeleteI love lists...I also love that so many of my BFs (blog friends) are list makers too :o) Have a blessed week
ReplyDeleteYour comments about kids going off is so very wise!
ReplyDeleteI love my lists! I appreciate the encouragement about my daughter going to college.
ReplyDeleteOh, I wish we had an unfinished basement! It would be wonderful. Our house is so tiny that we just don't have enough room for anything. This is why my heart yearns for a larger place where we can actually have a laundry room and a space for everything, instead of just where we can get it and then not be able to find it when we do need it, you see?
ReplyDeleteVisiting via Mid-week Memes! Hope you'll join me over at my place. ^.^
