- What was your biggest fear as a child? My mother
- Who taught you to cook? My grandmother
- Do you have a lot of books in your home? Yes, lots and lots of my own and I still have some belonging to both kids.
- Do you like carrot cake? Patrice says frosting is good on top. If you like that cake, what kind of frosting do you like best? On top? Hmm. I guess you wear it like a hat. I just made a carrot cake a couple of weeks ago - love it!
- What's did the last funny t-shirt you read say? (It doesn't have to reflect your personal feeling about the topic, just be funny and family friendly.) I really can't think of any right now. Most t-shirts that I see are either plain or sports related.

Bless your heart...fearing your Mother. Come to think of it, though, I had an unhealthy fear of mine, too!!! She was really good (if you can call it that) at giving whoopings!! ;-) HOPE you have a great day!!!
ReplyDeleteI have dozens of books in my home and over 100 on my Nook. I love to read.
ReplyDeleteit was my grandmother that taught me to cook also :)
ReplyDeleteLoved chatting with you on the porch today, great questions and your answers, I wish I would have known you had cake at your house a couple weeks ago LOL I would have been over, me and cake we go together like...ice cream and cake LOL
ReplyDeleteHave a great day ;]
Wonderful that your grandmother taught you to cook. I didn't know my grandmothers, I always felt like I was cheated out of something wonderful. Have a great day !
ReplyDeleteGrandmothers are good when it comes to cooking. I think they have more patience since they don't have the kids all the time. I am acquiring more books on my Kindle now. As much as I love the feel of a real book, it is quite a space saver. Have a great week. Your prize was mailed the same day as one of the other gals who just got hers- so- your should be there soon. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI wish my grandma had taught me to cook. She was incredible, but she lived too far from us. I was afraid of my mom too to some extent. She wasn't afraid to give us a necessary whooping. Have a blessed day!
ReplyDeleteThe problem with my mother is that you never knew what her mood was going to be. But it probably wasn't going to be good. I loved being in the kitchen with my grandmother! Those are some of my most favorite memories.
