bread machine-a home
appliance for baking bread.
It consists of a bread pan
(or "tin") with a paddle mounted in the center of a small
special-purpose oven, with a control panel.
I love my bread machine! I tried for years to make homemade bread and could never get it to raise right. Then I found this bread machine at the local thrift store. I paid $2 for it. I have perfected the art of making bread in this machine! It is AWESOME! I do not bake the bread inside of it but use the dough cycle, turn it out, knead lightly and put it in a pan to raise – and it does raise! One of the best $2 I’ve ever spent.

My family also adores our bread machine. We stopped buying bread ever since we bought it. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Tami,
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining up at my blog and for your comments. :) Used to have a bread machine and it was wonderful! I baked the bread in it; there's nothing like the smell of baking bread in the home. Hope you enjoy the A-to-Z Blogging Challenge!
Cheers!
Thanks for your comment and for following me! I've always wanted to make bread, because it always smells so good when it's baking! But I've never tried before, I think I'd be more willing to try if we had a bread machine! :)
ReplyDeleteI love love love my bread machine and I do love home made bread. I make a meal of it. Thanks for visiting me today. Your kids are wonderful by the way.

Me too! I love my bread machine. I almost ruined it a couple of batches ago after leaving my measuring cup in the bottom (I had rested it against the paddle to drain the olive oil while getting the other ingredients ready.) Thankfully, I rescued the whole batch because I just happened to peek in on the cycle 5 minutes in.
ReplyDelete$2.00 is a steal!
Nothing like home baked bread...makes me think of my childhood. :)
