Coffee Chat

I'm joining the coffee chat again this morning! If you'd like to join, head over to Rory's at Time out for Mom. The topic is: ...I'm not real sure but I think it's about our Easter weekends....seems that sickness abounded at Rory's house this weekend - I do so remember those times. Hope everyone is feeling better.

As far as my weekend  - started out with a Friday evening appointment with the eye doctor who says my eyes have gotten much worse since my last visit but that's to be expected at my age. My age? Really! That made me feel good. Saturday I was outside all day - mowing, hanging laundry, planting the garden (all seed - still afraid to put the plants in - might still get some frost). It was a good day but I woke up Sunday morning with my eyes swelled and literally hurting - must have been some kind of pollen out there they didn't like. I didn't let it interfere with Easter day though. There are no sunrise services in this area and I miss those. Still it was a good day with the entire afternoon again spent outside.Monday it was back to work and today is a vacation day to be spent with my daughter, helping her with her yard. Just sitting here drinking my coffee and having a little chat with friends before I head to her house.

  1. it was a bit of ramble chat today wasn't it? I fear my creativity is still somewhat foggy.

you had the kind of Saturday we would normally have -- if no one was ill. Outside all day, enjoying the sunshine, working in the garden. and I probably would have done an outdoors egg hunt too. thankfully I don't have any allergies though.
sounds like a good weekend though - and starting off the morning with coffee and friends = perfection!
have a great week and thanks for chatting!

Speaking of frost, we may get frost tonight and tomorrow night.. Hope not though since we have roses beginning to bloom and irises blooming...

I miss Sunrise Services too... We don't have any in this area either...When I lived in FL, we had them on the beach.. They were awesome.

    Hugs,
    Betsy
