It's time to head over to Patrice's porch for the weekly chat. Here are this week's questions:
- What's the last big gathering you attended? (wedding, funeral, graduation, party, riot, etc)
- Do you switch over your seasonal wardrobe, wear the same things year round, have a huge closet to put it all in, or throw everything out and buy new each season(I threw the last one in there to see if you're paying attention;)?
- What sweetener do you use most often?
- Slippers, socks, or barefoot?
- What questions would you like me to ask the group over the next few weeks?
My answers:
- graduation last December - I'm in charge of disability seating so I have to be there.
- I just move things around in the closet.
- I use molasses or honey when I make my bread, and plain old sugar for everything else.
- barefoot unless it's cold, then I have to wear slippers of some kind.
- I'd love to hear some new gardening secrets, or canning tips, some new recipe for a novelty type of jelly/jam I could make.....
Hi Tami, thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I love your answers.
ReplyDeleteI love eating molasses on a freshly baked bread with a little dab of butter or honey with crunchy peanut butter.
I've joined your followers by clicking on the word Follow at the top of your page on the left side and this will automatically will put your blog on my list. Have a great week. JB
Good questions...
ReplyDelete1.) my book signing :)
2.) nope...
3.) Sweet-n-low
4.) barefoot when warm, slippies when cold
5.) If there is one thing you 'could' change in your life, what would it be?
that was fun...
Thanks for joining in. I will use some of your questions in the next few weeks. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteCanning holds no interest for me, but I think I would like to learn how to make an easy jam/jelly recipe that doesn't require canning. I know there are some out there. The big question is, would I make time to do this if I had the know how? Not likely any time soon, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteHodgepodge-ChitChat-Wayback Wednesday Fun
I like your suggestions for future questions. I love molasses & honey, too!
ReplyDeleteOkay!! Every bodys questions are WAAYY better than mine. I would love to hear about canning too, since I'm a newbie at it.
ReplyDeleteI loved molasses when I was a kid. I haven't had it in a very long time.
ReplyDeleteOne gardening question that I would love to have answered is how to successfully grow roses in a very shaded yard that is always feast or famine when it comes to water supply. We're always either very wet or very dry here!
Have a great week!
