Wednesday Hodgepodge

Welcome back to the Wednesday Hodgepodge! Be sure to add your link to the bottom of Joyce's post and then go visit the neighbors. After all, that's part of the fun! 

1. Spring is in the air (at least in my neck of the woods) and the birds are singing...what's your favorite bird? I love the little Blue Indigos and the Goldfinches - don't get them in town like I did in the country.

2. Speaking of birds...do you tweet? If so tell us your screen name and we'll come flocking to your Twitter site. Even if you don't let's all pretend here that we do-in 140 characters or less, sum up your week so far. I don't but if I did "all would be going well for the final weeks of the semester"

3. Its been reported recently that employers are not only viewing the facebook pages of potential hires but they're also requesting your facebook password to have a look at what you've kept from public view. What say you? They've been doing that for a while and I can understand some reasons why they may want to - would give a good insight into the kind of person you are hiring but I still think it's kind of an invasion of privacy.

4. It's April and you know what that means-Major League Baseball is back in action. What's your favorite baseball movie? If that's too hard, what's your favorite sports themed movie?Does Angels in the Outfield count? Not a sports fan here.

5. Something else this season brings-asparagus. Yes please or no thanks? If it's yes please what's your favorite way to have it prepared? Yes please, grilled is awesome. Last week I made an asparagus soup recipe that someone posted on their site and it was good - not great - if I make it again, I'll probably tweak it a little - add some bacon........

6. What drives you? (Don't you love how I sandwiched that one in between asparagus and jugglers???) I'd have to say "responsibility"  - desire to teach  responsibility to my children - desire to be a responsible individual on the job, at home, do what needs to be done......

7. April 18th is International Jugglers Day...can you juggle?No

8. Insert your own random thought here. I was just elected to be President of the VFW Auxiliary. I was a little worried I would not have the time to give it that it deserves with still working full time and taking classes but they convinced me I could - wish me luck.
