It's time to head over to Patrice's
porch for the weekly chat and boy am I glad she confessed to be the
reason for this cold weather. Here I was thinking it was because I got
the garden plowed!
This week's questions:
- What was the first sign of spring that you saw this year?
- What was the last package you received in the mail?
- Do you have any Easter, or spring traditions in your home?
- Do you hand wash dishes or machine was them?
- If I had an extra hour each day, I'd ______________.
My answers:
- I saw flowers poking their heads out of the ground.
- I been receiving various video cards in the mail for the past few weeks. :(
- Easter time means celebrating Christ and his Resurrection. Since my kids are grown and gone, Easter baskets are not bought and filled at my house anymore - need that grandson to be close enough so I can start doing all that again!
- Hand wash, I do plan on getting a dishwasher put in - would love to have one during canning season.
- Read, or watch something on TV, or spend another hour outside in the garden......
Send that grandson of yours an Easter Box. I live far away from my mom...We send her one every Easter :o) I wrap it in plain pink paper (so the postman dosen't get mad) & fill it with goodies, pictures, & things our daughter has made. She loves it! I bet he would too.

ReplyDeleteI love washing dishes by hand. I didn't have a dishwasher for years when I lived in SoCal. Now that I do, I still wash dishes by hand. It reminds me of my grandma:) Good luck with the challenge.
